public RESTROOM DOORS

Were public restroom doors designed for people who don't have knees?  Asking for a friend...

Problem

Opening the bathroom stall door crushes leg shins, when one is seated.

solution

Make bathroom doors open differently so legs are spared.

Remember to keep your luggage with you

It's always a good time getting the luggage into the stall when the door swings inward and you have to levitate to make room.

There is not enough space between toilet and door.

As with all product designs, there needs to be testing.  Clearly most public restrooms were built without considering the person using them and the door's involvement in the space utilization.
