Enough of my complaining - here’s a design that is BRILLIANT. Every time I buy lotion, cream, shampoo, etc. I always play “get the last bit” in a wild shaking or an excavation dig to get the 5th of cream still remaining at the bottom of the bottle. 90% of these bottles have pump valves and that is not helpful in getting the remaining lotion because the tube doesn’t reach the bottom of the bottle nor would it get the cream that is on the sides, etc.
This little plastic adapter is a game-changer. It has little legs so the bottle can stay upside down and then the top opens so you can squeeze the cream out. Awesome.

I am not paid to say this…yet…but I think I found the perfect running shoe. It’s design is so unique, I am wearing them as I type just because they feel so amazing. What sets them apart from other running shoes is their shape and feel. First off - They’re made for women’s feet! The have a curve to them that are spectacular and the cushiony feel is something i’ve never experienced in a shoe.
Needless to say, I will be buying no other running shoe for the rest of my foreseeable future. The brand, you ask? Altra. As far as I have experienced I have seen yet another thing get smaller over the years in technology, and that is the ‘grab’ space on a window. See image below, notice how when you want to use multiple browser windows that you have to find that little space on the top frame to move the window, else ye closeth a tab or the whole lot of them and then you have to fetch your window tab history which is a whole thing.
Anyways, I envision a window grab button called Grip. It only appears when you hover your mouse over a corner of the window. Cheerio! I can’t be the only person who has had to get out the magnifying glass to see the incredibly small sliver of a button on a window. I understand it’s not “content” that’s useful to marketers and we want as much available space on a webpage as possible. But it’s kind of ludicrous how small buttons can make a user work within 1 millimeter of space!
As a woman, every pair of shorts and pants have incredibly small pockets. My fingers only fit a quarter of the way in. I can carry my lucky penny. Or a press-on nail, for emergencies.
Conversely, men’s pockets are DEEP - for their money, pocket knife, car keys, gemstones, wood clippings and the finance section of the newspaper. I get it, clothes manufacturers, I am supposed to have a large Coach© bag to carry. But joke’s on you because I loathe carrying things when I can wear them instead. I'm sure with the advent of new electric space-like cars, this won't be an issue anymore, but for the sake of today, April 1st, 2022, I want to know how a tall person can be comfortable in a car? You move the seat back, sure, but then the steering wheel is light years ahead of you.
If the steering wheel could actually stretch forward, towards the tall driver, that would be nice, very nice indeed. Most of my design grievances are in relation to size and height of the human, I'm realizing. |
